Janhvi Kapoor had her impressive start in B Town with the film of Shashank Khaitan called Dhadak which she did opposite Ishaan Khatter. Her decent performance was able to win millions of hearts across all the section of film communities. Though the film was an average grosser, she was applauded for her excellent work. Then came her next venture which was announced last year that she is the part of Karan Johar’s most ambitious project Takht which has one of the best star cast including Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor. The film will have its release in 2020.
Jhanvi is no focusing on the assigned role. On the other side, she is also one project in her kitty. She will be seen in the role of Gunjan Saxena, who happens to be the first female IAF pilot. The lady is known for flying the jet inside the combat zone during the Indo-Pak was at Kargil in the year 1999. Her bravery made her receive the honour of Shaurya Chakra, which is Indian military highest decoration. Jhanvi shared her first look poster of from this film a few weeks before. We saw her dressed up like the Airforce Officer, which has a striking resemblance to the said IAF pilot.
As per reports, Janhvi is working hard to play this character hard over the silver screen. She very well knows that she has to get rid of this girlish look and wear a look of a lady with a fierce and rusty look. She is therefore in the process of gaining weight for the actress.
