Supurna Malakar is an actress who hails from Calcutta. She is active in Bengali TV and films. She was born and brought up at Calcutta and did her schooling and college from her home town only. As she grew up she developed her interest in acting and was also involved in theatres that made her entry into the world of acting. Soon she headed to Mumbai to pursue her dreams in this field and later got involved in the ad world and appeared for several commercial and print ads. She then got the chance to work in Bengali TV series as well.
However, her big role was in the web series in Bengali called MisMatch with Rajdeep, Raichal, and Mainak. It was a comedy show with some adult content and she did a decent job impressing everyone. She also appeared for various musical songs including the one called Aaj Jaane Ki Jeed Na Karo with Arjit Singh and later kept on doing several ventures to get herself engaged. She was also part of a short film called Pregnant.
She was also the part of other web series mostly Bengali including Burning Calcutta, Holy Faak, and others. She was also got one Tamil film called Chandrullo Unde Kundelu where she bagged the lead role. Her role was appreciated by getting recognition in the industry.
