Supriya Pathak Kapur is a popular name in TV and Bollywood industry. She was born on 7th January 1961 in Mumbai in a family of Dina Pathak who was also a well known actress of B Town. Her sister Ratna Pathak Shah is also an actress who is married to Naseeruddin Shah, while Supriya married to the actor Pankaj Kapur and Shahid Kapoor is her step son. She started her career in Bollywood with the movie Kalyug in the year 1981, for which she bagged her first Filmfare Best Supporting Award. This gave her another movie called Bazaar the next year, which brought her to limelight. Since then it was no looking back. Some of her initial career movies include Gandhi, Bekarar, Masoom, Awaz, Arjun, Jhooti, Shadadat to name a few. Some of her recent movies include Mausam, Shanghai, Wake Up Sid, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bobby Jasoos, and the recently released All is Well, while her upcoming movie is Kis Kisko Pyar Karu.
