Superstar Govinda has been honored with a Doctorate for excellence in Indian Cinema
Bollywood iconic star Govinda is one of the favorites and one of the leading actors in the industry. The actor ruled the industry for more than a decade with his super hit films like Hero No 1, Coolie No 1, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Bhagam Bhag, Partner, and many more. There was an era when Govinda fans use to recreate his look from his every picture. After contributing so much to the industry, our ChiChi star has reportedly been honored with a Doctorate for excellence in Indian Cinema.
As per a report by ETimes, the World NRI Cultural and Social Associations of America has honoured the actor with a Doctorate for his excellence in Indian Cinema. Apart from him, the actor’s brother Kirti Kumar has also been honoured. The awarding ceremony took place at Govinda’s Juhu bungalow yesterday afternoon, on the 23rd of January, Sunday, at 3:30 pm. Undoubtedly, it must have been a proud moment for both Govinda and his brother Kirti, and their loved ones as well.
Govinda was last seen in Rangeela Raja, directed by Sikander Bharti, and backed by Pankaj Nihalani,
and the film was released on January 18th, 2019.
As Govinda has not been delivering a good amount of pictures, the actor has opted for social media platforms to reach out to his fans. Currently, Govinda is producing his singles on his YouTube channel Govinda Royalles. Chasma Chadha Ke, Tip Tip Barsa Paani, Hello, and others were his previous singles.
