Super Dancer Chapter 4: Genelia DSouza revealed ‘this’ fun fact about her wedding ceremony with Riteish Deshmukh
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh, one of Bollywood’s most adored couples, graced the ongoing dancing reality show Super Dancer Chapter 4 with a Shaadi special episode. The couple reminisced about their wedding, and the actress shared some interesting details. In a video clip shared on social media by Sony Television, the actress said that her husband Riteish stroked her feet eight times at their wedding. The actor’s response to this realization was epic.
Genelia was heard saying, “We may have modernised our weddings and turned them into another party, but I adore traditional weddings and consider myself fortunate to have got one. Every ceremony was a blast for me, and I was very emotional during my Bidaai as well, but we all had a great time. Of course, Ritesh had to touch my feet, eight times.”
Genelia did a victory dance as she revealed this, smirking, and Riteish joked that the priest was making him ready for the rest of his life. “I think the priest knew what I am supposed to do after the wedding. He made me practise it before,” he said.
Riteish and Genelia met on the set of the former’s first Hindi film, Tujhe Meri Kasam, and kept their relationship a secret until they married in 2012. They may have been filling up for actress Shilpa Shetty, who is one of the show’s judges.
