With a huge response in India, the makers of Super 30 are reaping more benefits overseas as well. The film based on an educational program called Super 30 initiated by Anand Kumar the math wizard from Bihar has reached Canada. It was screened in the city of Vancouver for a selected crowd-pulling people from all the sections. The organizers invited Anand Kumar and his brother Pranav Kumar for the special screening.
The duo was joined by Dr. Biju Mathew who wrote the book Super 30 also joined them from BC along with the Art and Culture Minister Mrs. Lisa Beare and Dan Ruimy the MP as the chief guest. The screening of the film then followed the interview at the ACT Centre in the city of Vancouver. Anand was glad to answer most of the questions that revolved around his initiative and his personal journey in making his program ‘Super 30’ successful in India.
The film got a huge round of applauds from the people of Canada while talking about the same, Anand said that the audience was able to catch the emotions and content in the right spirit and then applauded his efforts without any language barrier just by reading the subtitles. The cultural minister too was impressed by the story and called it a positive change-maker in society. Dr. Biju Mathew who is the author of the book based on Super 30 said that he is happy that his book has created a good awareness of the initiative in India.
