Finally, the most awaited movie of Salman Khan – Sultan has hit the theatres. And as expected, the film has got a bumper opening releasing this festive season of Eid. As per reports, the film has acquired 80 percent of occupancy in the morning shows, which soon turned 100 percent in most of the places including both the multiplexes and single screens.
The film has released in more than 4500 screens in India along with around thousand screens overseas including Pakistan, Middle East, UK, US, Canada, Australia and other nations. As per reports, if we talk about the domestic market the film is likely to take a mind blowing start wherein the people from the North Rajasthan and UP have been getting a mind-blowing response as the film is doing too good at the theatres.
Even the NCR including Gurgaon and Noida along with other places close to Delhi falling under NCR is doing great at the box office. In the urban areas, the occupancy can range up to 70 to 80 percent and that even touched to 100 percent in most of the places. So unlike the Bajrangi Bhaijaan releasing least year, the Salman Khan starrer film Sultan has simply erupted the hurricane this year.
As per reports, the first day box office collection for Sultan tolled to around 30 crores, which not only break the records of Bajrangi Bhaijaan but also is set to make trends in the world. The trade pundits and experts are expecting to see the film to enter the 100 crore club even before the end of the film’s first weekend. Tomorrow being eid, the film is likely to maintain similar figures at the box office.
