It was in February 2018 when we saw the film Arjun Patiala hitting the floor. Since it then it went quite with the production with Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. Just after the makers decided the release date of the film, they embarked upon with the first poster of the film to start creating buzz for the movie. The film was shot in Chandigarh and other parts of the country. It is the first collaboration of Kriti Sanon and the Punjabi actor Diljit, which is directed by Rohit Jugraj, while it was the Music king Bhushan Kumar has produced the film in association with Dinesh Vijan.
The two producers have together for the first time and would later extend their partnership for the sequel of Hindi Medium. The film will be a laugh ride, informed the makers, and it will only make you laugh and smile all across the movie. The movie was all set to hit the screens in September 2018. Once the makers got the release date, Kriti Sanon was quick to share the poster on the Microblogging site – Twitter in her own style. She tweeted, Ready Steady Lol – here comes the Arjun Patiala. The film is releasing on 3rd May 2019.
Saying this she then shared the first poster of the film. Earlier Kriti Sanon was seen talking about the film and said it it is a comedy movie in which she is playing a character of a crime reporter. She said she studied how the reporters work watching the TV and meeting them to prepare to play this role in the movie. She also informed how crazy she felt to play this character in a film that will make the people laugh like anything. She also talked about her next venture, which will be a Dinesh Vijan film. She will be playing opposite the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor Kartik Aaryan in the movie called Luka Chuppi. The film also has Aparshakti Khurana in the pivotal role.
