Alia Bhatt to take up diction lessons for her film Gangubai Kathiawadi
Just when we saw Alia Bhatt losing the film Inshallah as it got shelved off due to the creative differences between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the filmmaker offered the diva yet another film with him. The film was titled as Gangubai Kathiawadi and Alia Bhatt is the leading lady in the film. We now see the actress gearing up for her next film and she has started her preparations.
As per reports, the lady is now going to undertake the diction lessons for her assigned character. She will be playing the Madam of Brothels based in the Kamathipura while the film is set up in the sixties. The lady is playing the madam who is also a drug peddler and happens to have gangsters as her clients in her brothel. As Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for his passion to make good movies he has allocated two people for Alia to train her on the dialect part.
These include the theatre personality Manoj Joshi and Supriya Pathak who would be helping Alia to catch up on the dialect for the role. Currently, Alia is also shooting for other films and she would be taking up the lessons for not less than a month apart from catching up the roles in the city and other places. Although Alia has limited dialogues in the film yet Bhansali wants her to perfect her accent. The dialect is likely to have a strong influence of Sindh in it along with Rajputs and Kahis of the current Sidh and Rajasthan. The film will be hitting the floor on 11th September 2020.
