Its been two weeks to see any major releases in B Town. All we could see is the biggie Hollywood film Avengers: Endgame, which took the box office by storm. This Hollywood film went on to crush Uri: The Surgical Strike starring Vicky Kaushal entering into the 300 Crore Club in India. Now, the Hollywood film has slowed down at the box office giving others a perfect chance to prosper. Thus the sequel of Student of the Year has perfect timing for its release and it will do well at the box office.
The sequel starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria called STOY 2 is likely to do well at the box office both on the first day and the first weekend as well. The high-school musical drama enjoys a decent buzz in the media. Since the film focusses on students and young people, hence it is likely to attract the young crowd on a big level. Also, Tiger Shroff happens to be a popular face in the media, the target audience would certainly going to catch the film on day one.
Checking at the current scene, we can expect the film to get a decent start. The first-day collection for Student of The Year 2 of around 12 Crores, while on the first weekend the film is likely to come close to 40 to 45 Crores. In fact, the experts feel that the film would be a money spinner at the ticket windows.
The film also has Aditya Seal and Samir Soni apart from Ananya and others. The film is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, while it happens to the sequel of Student of the Year, which gave a debut to the stars like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Siddharth Malhotra.
