Student of the Year 2 Box Office Collection crosses Rs 50-crore mark
The sequel- Student of The Year 2 by Karan Johar seems to have a decent business at the box office. The teen romantic comedy movie, which was made at the costs of 80 Crores and so far it has entered into the 50 crores at the box office. The film has so far has gained 53.88 Crores at the box office. THe film released on 10th May and thus emerged out as the ninth highest grossing B Town film in the year 2019.
The film produced under the banner of Dharma Productions and had as occupancy rate of 20 to 25 percent. The film has scored around 12.06 crore on the first day in the country. The film then earned around 38.33 Crores in the first three days, while on the fourth day the film scored around 5.52 crores on Monday. The sequel however, had to struggle hard over the box office. The film managed to gain 50 crores at the box office.
As per reports, Taran Adarsh the film did well during the weekends but the overall collection was not that impressive. Punit Malhotra is directed by Punit Malhotra, which remain the sequel of 2012 of the year. The film talks about the complex lives of the students based in Saint Teresa’s College. The film did bad at the box office due to its weak storyline. If the collection goes in the similar pace, the film will not be able to recover the cost.
