Stree 2 Box Office Day 3: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Film Blazes Past Rs 137 Crore

Stree 2 Box Office Collections Day 3: The much-anticipated sequel, Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is making waves at the box office. Released on Independence Day, the film faced stiff competition from Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa. Despite this, Stree 2 has emerged as a box office champion, amassing an impressive Rs 135.7 crore by the end of its third day in theaters.
According to Sacnilk.com, the film experienced a remarkable surge in collections, with Saturday’s earnings reaching an estimated Rs 44 crore, a significant jump from Friday’s Rs 31.4 crore. Analysts predict that Sunday’s collections may rise further, especially with the Raksha Bandhan holiday on Monday, which could boost audience turnout.
On Saturday, Stree 2 recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 61.96%, with night shows peaking at around 81%. The film saw the highest attendance in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Pune, and Bengaluru, showcasing its wide appeal.
Rajkummar Rao expressed his gratitude for the film’s success on Instagram, celebrating its entry into the Rs 100 crore club with a heartfelt message: “Blessings to God and to all of you. Heartfelt thanks.”
Stree 2 follows a new demon wreaking havoc in Chanderi, this time in the form of a headless monster that kidnaps women under the cover of darkness. Vicky (played by Rajkummar Rao) and his friends—Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana—are on a quest to save their village.
They are aided by the enigmatic “Girl With No Name” (Shraddha Kapoor), who warns them they have only days to defeat the demon or face dire consequences. This sequel arrives six years after the original Stree captivated audiences.
