Stree 2 Box Office Collection 2 Weeks: Shraddha Kapoor & Rajkummar Rao’s Film Hits Rs 414 Crore (And still Counting)

The box office performance of Stree 2 has experienced a notable decline on its second Wednesday. On day 14, the horror-comedy, directed by Amar Kaushik, earned Rs 23 lakh, as reported by Sacnilk. To date, the film has amassed an impressive total of Rs 414.78 crore at the domestic box office. Released on August 15, Stree 2 stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, supported by a talented ensemble including Aparshakti Khurrana, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Vijay Raaz, with a special cameo from Varun Dhawan. The film was produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Maddock Films and Jio Studios.

On Tuesday, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to X (formerly Twitter) to highlight how Stree 2 thrived during the partial holiday of Janmashtami. He noted, “#Stree2 remains UNSTOPPABLE, capitalizing on the partial holiday boost [#Janmashtami]… With no major releases coming up, the film is on a clear path to reach the ₹ 500 crore milestone.”Adarsh further emphasized the film’s stronghold at the box office, especially in mass-market regions, due to the lack of significant competition. He shared the box office figures for the second week: “Fri 19.30 cr, Sat 33.80 cr, Sun 40.75 cr, Mon 20.20 cr. Total: ₹ 421.85 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice.

”In an exclusive interview with NDTV’s Abira Dhar, Aparshakti Khurana, who portrays Bittu in the film, reflected on its box office success, saying, “While shooting, we sensed we were creating something special, but we never anticipated hitting 400 crores in just a week. The love we’ve received is overwhelming, and it feels surreal to see how far we’ve come. We expected good numbers, but these are unprecedented.”Stree 2 faced competition from other box office releases like John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s Vedaa, and Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor’s Khel Khel Mein.
