Stree 1st day box office collection

Stree movie review

This Friday, we have two films got released, which include the one called Stree and the other the Deol’s family movie called Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se had come. Let’s talk about Stree and the way it has performed over the box office.  The film had okay star value and good reviews but still the film managed to perform week over the box office. This is because, the film happened to be a comedy horror film, and such genre s is not that popular among the Indian masses. They are more prone to high star value films and the Masala movies. Such films releasing may be hampered for various reasons.

As we check the performance of the film, it started with the occupancy in the morning in a meager note. The morning shows for Stree had less than 10 percent of occupancy but then it went to become 60 percent. As per reports, the 1st day box office collection for Stree reached to around 4.75 crore. The figure seems okay but the makers were expecting more since the song of the movie had gone viral and was expecting to see a good start. However, the experts feel that the film would have its buzz soon and may be would tart with the weekend as well.

The film is expected to do better over the box office in the first weekend as the experts feel that it will develop a good word of mouth buzz in the media. It will certainly going to collect more than 20 crore, though it would also have competition from the other comedy film released called YPDPS starring the Deol family. Also, the other films already running including Gold, Satyamev Jayate, Happy Phir Bhaag Jayegi and Genius, hence it is likely to see some amount of buzz in the media. So, the picture at this moment seems to be rosy in the coming days though not that impressive if you check as per the perspective of the makers. Well, let’s see how things would move. Stay tuned to know more about this film and others with.
