Star Cast of Brahmastra – Ranbir, Big B, Alia and others pledge to donate their organs as World Kidney Day comes close


Come 11th of March and we have World Kidney Day. The organ that remains an important one in our body remains in high demand for organ transplant operation in the world. It was this body organ that failed, killing the veteran actor Shammi Kapoor. The man who lived his life to the fullest was down with a kidney failure and was seen breathing the last in Breach Candy Hospital thrice a week for this treatment.
As this day comes closer we now hear that the leading stars of the upcoming movie Brahmastra of Karan Johar and Ayan Mukherji playing the producer and director role coming up with this important announcement. Yes, you heard it right, Ranbir Kapoor, who happens to be the grand-nephew of Shammi Kapoor, seemed to be donating his kidney along with their other organs as well. With an event organised by the Amar Gandhi Foundation, we saw the actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan pledging to donate the same.
Even Karan Johar the producer and Ayan Mukerji the director of the film Brahmastra have announced to donate their kidneys. Even Alia Bhatt was seen supporting them in this cause. Check their videos as the popular B Town portal Bollywood Hungama shares the same:
