Pindadaan Marathi Movie review

Pindadaan Marathi Movie review

The M Town this week has only one movie to release, which includes Pindadaan, which is directed by Prashant Patil under the production banner of the two called Uday Pictures and Saarthi Entertainment. The film has an Indian and British star cast in the lead roles including Siddharth Chandekar, Manava Naik, Paula Mcglynn, Madhav Abhyankar and Sanjay Kulkarni. The film is a drama and love story, which come along with the music of Sagar Dhote and the lyrics is given by Vaibhav Joshi and Mandar Cholkar. The photography is carried out by the man called Bunty, well, let’s check the review as under in the following paragraphs:

Plot

In the story, you have a TV journalist called Ashutosh which is played by Siddharth Chandekar who works in a TV Channel in London called Channel 6. He is assisted by his colleague called Ruhi played by Manava Naik who loves him dearly. However, Ashutosh doesn’t love him yet seen getting intimate with her making things complex between the two. So, soon he is seen returns to his job with Ruhi to assist him as usual to shoot a documentary. Soon the two meets a British lady who speaks a good Marathi and is a follower of a Godman called Rudrababa. The guy falls in love, so what happens in this love story when the same man rejects his colleague’s love but is seen expressing his love to this British girl.

 Review

M Town at times is known to give good movies but most of the time, we have been getting bad films, which waste our time the most, however, with Pindadaan, all limits seemed to have crossed. The film fails grossly not just on story and performance but also lyrics and music as well. Every aspect of the film becomes a sheer waste of time. There is no character development in the film, nor can you find anything worthy in the form of logic in it making it the most nonsensical film in M Town ever made. It is a beyond average making of the film.  Most of the sequences speak about the factual errors, which the entire film is pitted with. Unfortunately, from start to the end, there is no short of errors in the film.

The film has stretched the main theme of the film to a great extent making the audience lose their interest to a great extent. The character found in the film hardly is interwoven together the way they deserve to be done by the debut venture director of the film. Thus a majority of the critics are seen getting into chorus to yell against the movie and even seen stopping the audiences to watch this film. Let’s talk about performances; well most of the actors in the lead role are seen faltering with the shabby look and acting skills. May be they shouldn’t be blamed for the entire story of the film since it was the director who seem to be messing up with things over the silver screen.

Taking about direction, it is beyond the protocols of filmmaking and the film itself speaks a lot about his amateur direction skills. Talking about the music, it is again average with lyrics going on the top speaking nothing but the absurd in it. Even the technical elements like photography, screenplay and editing too are not limited with their own set of flaws together hampering the overall entertainment value of the film. In other words, the film is made with a number of flaws that are hard to impress the audience at any way.

Pindadaan Last Word

Pindadaan is essentially a love story, but by adding a number of things in the film, the director has confused the audience a lot. Plus the number of flaws in the film in terms of script, direction and other aspects of the film, it simply make people feel that Pindadaan is nothing but a sheer waste of time, energy and resources. This will certainly going to make the rating of the film lower, which can be justified to a great extent.

Rating -1.0
