SS Rajamouli’s RRR to have India’s Biggest Post theatrical, Digital and Satellite release deal ever

The much-awaited pan India film, RRR has become the talk of the nation since the announcement of the film. We earlier reported that filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s film is going going to stream on two different OTT platforms. The rights of the film have been bought by Netflix and ZEE5. On Wednesday the producers of the film’s Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions will be made available on ZEE5. However, Netflix will have the rights for Hindi, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Spanish versions of RRR.

Now the according to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the news is official. He took to his Twitter account and wrote, “IT’S OFFICIAL… Besides releasing in #Hindi, #Telugu, #Tamil, #Malayalam and #Kannada, #RRR will also release in various foreign languages: #English, #Portuguese, #Korean, #Turkish and #Spanish… The streaming rights are with Netflix… OFFICIAL POSTER…”

Pen Studios sells 10 languages in a day at a whopping price. RRR is now a global film, that will now be releasing in English, Portuguese, Turkish, Korean and Spanish apart from the already stated 5 languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The digital streaming rights of the film are now with Netflix and the film will premiere digitally after 70-100 days of theatrical release.

The film is presented in its post-production stage. Now the makers are waiting for the situation to get normal to release in on the big screen. The film has an amazing cast including Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. Fans are super excited for this one to release soon. The best part about RRR will be to watch the action sequences that will take place between NTR and Ram. RRR is a direction by the mastermind, SS Rajamouli, who was behind the record-breaking Baahubali series.

RRR is produced by DVV Danayya and is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and several other Indian languages. The film is expected to hit the screens on October 13 however, everything depends on the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.
