After giving his production venture called Kamyaab with Sanjay Mishra in the lead role, Shah Rukh Khan is back in the news for yet another project. Now, he is eyeing on his next film based on the infamous 2018 Muzaffarpur shelter home mass rapes. The project will have Pulkit as its director who has given films like Maroon in B Town based on the life of Subhash Chandra Bose.
For the film, he has done extensive research and now is doing the same for his upcoming film with Shah Rukh Khan as the producer. The makers are yet to decide upon the star cast, while the film is expected to hit the floor by July this year. Talking about the incident it came surfaced in the media for the first time on 26th May 2018 when the known instituted called TISS or Tata Institute of Social Sciences submitted their report about the same to the Bihar government.
This then brought everyone’s heed about the rapes and sexual abuse of girls who have been in the shelter home. While King Khan is yet to make an official announcement about this film. Talking about his acting venture, he is in talks with three key filmmakers including Raju Hirani, Krishna Dk and Atlee but is not given any official announcement for the same. The actor, however, will be making his cameo in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra as a scientist. Meanwhile SRK’s other production venture include Bob Biswas with Jr. Bachchan in the lead role. The film is under production.
