His work has also helped him bag honorary doctorate degrees from The University of Edinburgh and The University of Bedfordshire.
Once again he has been honoured with a doctorate degree, and this time it is none other than The University of Law in London giving him the Doctorate degree in Philanthropy. He bagged his merit degree in the graduation ceremony in the presence of huge number of students in London. Besides being an achiever in business, he has also worked in the field of Human Rights in India and has been the brand ambassador of many social campaigns initiated by Government of India.
These include the awareness programs of National Aids Control Organisation and Pulse Polio and besides, he has worked in a couple of charitable foundations as well, which include the Make-a-Wish Foundation. He is also linked with an NGO called Meer Foundation that helps the acid attack victims and was even awarded for his efforts including at the World Economic Forum held at Davos last year. Talking about the Honorary doctorate degree at London he said charity is something that has to be done in silence and with honor and then he thanked for being chosen for this honor.
