‘Queen’ Web Series, Season 1: Ramya Krishnan as Jayalalithaa, first season started of ‘Queen’
Web series ‘Queen’ is made on former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalithaa, in which Shivagami Devi of Bahubali i.e. Ramya Krishnan is seen. The story of this show is inspired by Jayalalithaa’s life. In this, the name of Ramya’s character is Shakti Seshadri and she looks like Jayalalithaa. After a lot of waiting, on December 14, it has been released on MX Player.
This web series is directed by Gautam Menon and Prasad Murugesan. It has 11 episodes in its first season, taken from Anita Sivakumaran’s book of the same name. The story of this show revolves around Shakti Seshadri. She is a strong and courageous woman since childhood. She was a state topper in school and started working at an early age due to the weak financial condition of the family.
Shakti got an opportunity to work in the film industry and became a famous actress. After this, she entered in politics. The Queen Web Series has shown the story from school till her age of 18 and becoming the youngest Chief Minister of the state.
