Sooryavanshi: The release issue remains unsolved making the exhibitors and moviegoers Frowned
The multiplexes have been waiting for long to get their chance to showcase the films after the chain gets the reopening Post Covid situations. The makers of the film Sooryavanshi seems to be eyeing the release of their film in a big way. The popular multiplex chains like PVR, Inox and Cinepolis seems to be making all the news in the media. However, as the advance booking started for the film, these popular chain of multiplexes were in the race.
The reasons is that they are still not allowed to reach out to the common ground and thus they are not able to make out the rush in the media. This seemed to have unfazed the mood of the makers and people behind them are in a bad shape. The multiplexes were supposed to start their bookings this Tuesday, however, nothing of that sort was seen, allowing everyone to feel the dismay and express their anger for the same. The makers and the multiplex chain providers had some issues with revenue sharing.
However, it was expected to be sorted out this Tuesday only, and as you see things, it has pushed ahead and barely one day remaining until the film release, had the matter seemed to have become big. The trade and exhibition sector seems dejected and they are hoping to meet the consensus but things seem to be working. The makers want a 60% revenue sharing in Week 1, which they dislike. They have laid down a different slab, which the makers are not keen to accept. The makers also have asked the two screen chains to screen in both the halls for the very same reason particularly for the screens of IMAX and 4DX screens.
