As we see the Coronavirus outbreak heard all over the country, the leading health body called the WHO has declared the virus as a pandemic. This has made the schools shut down and now people are even working from home. Even top companies in the US and other parts of the world have asked their employees to work from home. It is no surprise to see the Hindi film industry too getting affected by the outbreak. One such movie getting pushed forward for the release is the cop drama Sooryavanshi.
Yes, you heard it right, the cop drama directed by Rohit Shetty and having Akshay Kumar in the lead role has been postponed from 24th March. It was supposed to hit the screens on the said date but the makers now have decided to go with a new date, which is still not decided. The makers (Reliance Entertainment) have hinted before that if things did not go smooth they would push the release date somewhere in the future date.
The trailer of the film released on 2nd March seemed to have got a decent response by getting more than 41 million views within 24 hours which was a record in itself. Talking about pushing the date to some other days in the future, the makers feel that it was a wise decision to do that as they are not willing to take the risk of releasing at such a condition, which keeps people visit the public places. The footfalls remain to be affected in the screens. So, in other words, the makers have pushed the date from 24th to an undecided date.
