Sonu Sood Has Helped Sending 12k Migrant Labourers back Home

Sonu Sood has been making the news for the past few days. All thanks to his efforts of helping the stranded students and migrant workers back home in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand and other states. The B Town actor has worked in South Indian films and has been helping the daily wage workers with food and travel arrangements while managing the private buses back to home. So far, he has arranged thousands of buses for students and workers. 

While talking about the same he said he was disheartened to see many photos and visuals of migrant workers returning home walking for long hours and meeting accidents and getting death due to hunger. He then felt that he should do something for them as these were seen giving sleepless nights. He then came out arranging the buses for the workers. He then talked to the workers in Mumbai while he was on his way and saw them walking to their homes. 

He said when he asked about their destinations, he was appalled to hear that people were heading 350 to 500 kms back home. So far, he has managed to send 12,000 workers back home to different states. Yesterday, the Chief Minister Captain A Singh from Punjab also applauded the actor saying that he is making the Punjabis feel proud for the work he has done so far for the workers. Many of his industry friends also saluted the actor for his tireless work. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
