After the debacle of her last film The Zoya Factor, now, we hear that Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is gearing up for her next film. Her film with Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan based on the story of being a lucky charm for the Indian cricket seemed to have failed to impress the audience. Now we see the actress gearing up for her next film called The Battle Of Bittora, which is the venture of her own sister Rhea Kapoor made on her prestigious banner.
The film has been delayed since it was planned to be made with Fawad Khan opposite Sonam Kapoor just after their debut film together called Khoobsurat did well at the box office. However, Fawad Khan had to leave the film abruptly for obvious reasons. The film has been put on hold since then. Now, when her film The Zoya Factor seems to have done a debacle at the box office, she had to move on and taking up the next film from her sister’s production house would be wise in many ways.
As per reports, the film The Battle Of Bittora happens to be a female-centric movie with Sonam playing the role of the lead actor and the producer as well and thus the leading man in the film would be sided-lined for sure. We now hear that the Queen actor Rajkummar Rao would be playing that role. He has given many good performances and his upcoming film Made in China is making a good buzz in the media as well. Sonam would be playing the center stage in it.
