Finally, for the yesterday actor Sonali Bendre, it’s her return to her home in Mumbai after staying in New York for five long months for her cancer treatment. She went to the US for her high-grade cancer in the US as she disclosed in her emotional post over the social media informing her fans and others about the ailment she had in her life. As she came back to Mumbai, she informed about her return to her fans on the social media, and at the same time, she said that her fight against the dreaded disease is still going on. But on the brighter side, she said she is pleased to be back to Mumbai getting her family once again.
She also shared her picture stating a long note how distance from her hometown has remained a good teacher. She also wrote how she had to struggle every day against the menace. Lastly, she said she is back to the place where her heart is. She concluded by stating that she is happy to be back for an interval as her fight against the dreaded diseases continues. She has been regular on the social media writing updates about her treatment and the way she is fighting against the dreaded ailment with the presence of her family members. Even some of the Bollywood stars have visited her during her treatment in New York City.
It was in July when she was diagnosed with high-grade cancer when she reported about a niggling pain close to her breast that finally revealed the presence of the dreaded ailment. She thanked her family for their constant support while she was fighting the dreaded disease. She returned home with her hubby Goldie Behl. The couple was spotted at the Mumbai Airport as she landed the Indian soil in the wee hours. People who placed her at the airport found her visibly happy for obvious reasons as she was back to her hometown after five months. She went through the treatment comprising of the chemotherapy sessions as we see her with a shaved head. She will now have to go for the regular checkups, and there is no need to return to the US for the treatment as she can continue her battler in India.
