Sofia Hayat and Mahika Sharma, Popular Indian model and actress goes social for the welfare cause in the society. Recently Sofia Hayat donated an amount for helping the Indian farmers and Mahika Sharma donated an amount for the welfare of people fighting with AIDs.
“Recently after the issue of demonetization Indian farmers suffered with the expenditure in their household. So I came forward with the idea of donations. I also urge people around to help them,” Sofia Hayat adds in her statement.
Recently Sofia Hayat made it to headline by transforming herself to nun. Mahika who runs Durgabadi’s (Women’s education centre) has been quite famous for her helping hands in society.
Mahika adds, “I feel the need of being together and keep fighting the stigma and injustice associated with AIDS. We need to be actively involved with the welfare of the underprivileged — health, women and child rights, poverty and social development. We need to support Government to help raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and female foeticide.”
