Abhay Deol, the youngest Deol has always been known for his out of the track roles in Bollywood. Right from his debut to the current roles he has been playing has offered the industry a regime of some of the most outstanding on screen deliveries. Being a hot favourite amongst the female fans as well, Abhay has even been referred to as the chocolate boy of Bollywood.

Very recently, he even entered the web series world with the Netflix web series Chopsticks and his role was well acclaimed amongst his fans. Now news has been buzzing around that the talented actor has been offered the role of a villain in his upcoming Tamil film.

Abhay Deol has confirmed the news making a post on his social media handle sharing this big news. Along with the post, he has also shared a few photographs of himself right from the set. The name of the film is ‘Hero’ and is being directed by PS Mithran.

Actor Abhay Deol, who has mostly been the hero of Bollywood and has done positive roles in his career, is now going to be seen playing a baddie in this Tamil movie, Hero. However, as per Abhay, playing as a villain remains to be a natural progression.

Showing his gratefulness on the role offered to him, he wrote on his Instagram account, “On the set of a movie called ‘The Hero’ where I play ‘the villain!’ Was a natural progression I guess, I’ve played the anti-hero through most of my career. Oh and this one’s in Tamil ??! New language, new territory. Grateful.”
