The sleeper hit movie ‘Karthikeya 2’ started small but achieved big things slowly and steadily and has now passed the Rs. 100 crore mark. This news has been officially confirmed too. Actor Nikhil Siddharth formally announced that the movie crossed the 100 crore mark, making it a blockbuster.
Nikhil went online on Instagram yesterday to declare this good news on the auspicious day of Vinayaka Chaturthi. He wrote, “We finally crossed the 100-cr gross mark officially and a 50-cr share profit. ‘Kathikeya 2’ is blessed by everyone in India and the world. I can feel the love and affection you all gave to our movie and me. I will always work hard and try to live up to it.”
To let you know, Karthikeya 2 is unstoppable and continuously growing with its strong run in theatres. It has had an exceptional performance in the Hindi circuit, and even state VIPs are congratulating the film’s team.
Nikhil Siddhartha also shared a social media post recently in which he said that Gujarat CM Bhupendrabhai Patel met and praised the entire team for their good work. He termed the moment ‘an absolute honour’.
Karthikeya 2’s impressive feedback has surprised everyone in the industry. It began with just a 50-theatre run during the release of the Hindi version. With the help of positive word of mouth, it gradually gained more screens. Now, it has almost 30,000 screenings in the Hindi belt.
