Sitaare Zameen Par Poster: Aamir Khan Promises Heartwarming Story of ‘Special People’; Fans Gear Up for an Emotional Ride

Aamir Khan has revealed the first look poster for Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual sequel to his critically acclaimed film Taare Zameen Par (2007). The poster suggests that Aamir will take on the role of a basketball coach, reminiscent of his character as an art teacher in the original film. The movie is set to be released on June 20.The poster features Aamir Khan alongside 10 debutant actors, including Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.

Fans have expressed their excitement for the upcoming release, with comments such as, “1000 Cr Loading Amir Sir!!! Inshallah,” and “Ready to sob.” Another fan highlighted the film’s music, saying, “Glad to see that music is still given by the Goated trio,” referring to the renowned trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.With Sitaare Zameen Par, audiences will witness Aamir Khan’s return to the big screen after a significant hiatus, this time starring opposite Genelia Deshmukh.

Directed by R. S. Prasanna, known for Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, the film is produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. Besides Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, the film will feature lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The screenplay has been penned by Divy Nidhi Sharma, with production credits also going to Aparna Purohit.

The trailer for Sitaare Zameen Par was recently presented to the CBFC, which granted the film a UA certificate. Following the screening, actor, writer, and model Kuldeep Gadhvi took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the trailer. His review, later re-shared by co-producer Ravi Bhagchandka, stated, “Watched the CBFC trailer for #SitareZameenPar; it’s amazing.

Aamir Khan’s character, Gulshan, is a stark contrast to Nikumbh. At 3 minutes and 29 seconds, it’s a great trailer showcasing more comedy than emotions. Aamir Khan has done a fantastic job, and Genelia Deshmukh is also impressive. Darsheel Safari looks good too, along with stars like Brijendra Kala, Rahul Kohli, Karim Hajee, Sonali Kulkarni, Amit Verma, Anup Kumar Mishra, and Suresh Menon.”As anticipation builds for Sitaare Zameen Par, it seems poised to make a significant impact upon its release.
