Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking & Box Office Prediction

Sitaare Zameen Par, featuring Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, has officially arrived in theaters today. This sports comedy-drama is heavily reliant on initial word-of-mouth for its success. Advance Booking Day 1

According to Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par has grossed ₹3.31 crore (excluding blocked seats) through advance bookings for day 1. The pre-release hype was reasonable and has successfully translated into footfalls. While one might expect higher figures from an Aamir Khan film, its niche nature makes it entirely dependent on word-of-mouth.

Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film was available for advance booking in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Approximately 11.5K tickets have been sold nationwide, with Delhi emerging as the best-performing circuit, followed by Maharashtra and Telangana.

Box Office Day 1 Prediction

With a good pre-release buzz of the film- Sitaare Zameen Par, the makers are expected to earn a decent collection on day one. So, it is fair to say that the film is expected to earn between 15 to 20 Crores on the first day, while the experts are expecting more, but considering the boycott slogan by the Anti- Aamir Khan elements, it can affect on day. However, it is expected to gain more with the passage of time and days.

Sitaare Zameen Par vs. Top 5 Pre-Sales of 2025 in Bollywood

Sitaare Zameen Par performed significantly better than Kesari Chapter 2 (₹1.84 crore gross), registering almost 80% higher advance booking collections for the opening day compared to Akshay Kumar’s film. It also surpassed Sunny Deol’s Jaat (₹2.59 crore gross).

However, it fell short of entering the top 5 pre-sales of 2025 in Bollywood, missing the mark by a small margin as it needed at least ₹3.82 crore to surpass Sky Force at #5.
