Sitaare Zameen Par 1st Day Box Office Collection: The Aamir Khan Film Gets an Average Start

Aamir Khan makes his return to the big screen after nearly three years with Sitaare Zameen Par, following his appearance in Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022. According to the latest update from Sacnilk.com, the sports drama film had a slow start at the box office, earning just over ₹11 crore on its opening day.

Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection – Day 1

Reports indicate that Sitaare Zameen Par opened with a ₹11.50 crore nett collection in India, based on early estimates. The film experienced an overall 21.43% occupancy for Hindi screenings on Friday, with 16.74% for morning shows, 16.25% for afternoon shows, and a slight increase to 20.21% for evening screenings. Meanwhile, the popular Bollywood portal – Bollywood Hungama shared a lesser figure as collection, check their tweet on the microblogging site called X (formerly known as Twitter):

The first-day earnings of Sitaare Zameen Par did not surpass those of Aamir’s last release, Laal Singh Chaddha, which garnered ₹11.7 crore on its opening day. In comparison, Salman Khan’s Sikandar opened at a significantly higher figure of ₹26 crore.
