This independence day you have two movies releasing at one day. At one you have the sequel Singham Returns by Rohit Shetty, whereas at the other end you have the Marathi movie called Rege by Ravi Jadhav. The sequel of Singham seems to have garnered a good response from its promos released last month. Both its music and the action shown in the promos have got a very good number of views over YouTube and other social media sites. It has the power packed action by Ajay Devgn, which has already created the buzz among the audience.
On the other side, you have the Marathi movie Rege hitting the theatres, which has lead actors like Mahesh Manjrekar, Pushkar Shroti and several other competent players from the Marathi Cinema, it is directed by the talented man called Abhijit Ranse. For the filmmakers of Rege, it is not a big concern to see the sequel hitting the same day. However, this has happened in the past as well with movies like 3 Idiots and Dhoom 3 when you had Marathi movies like Natarang and Timepass being released respectively the day yet the audience turned up to watch these movies.
