Singham Again Day 1 Box Office: Ajay Devgn’s Diwali Release Outpaces Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 by Nearly 10 Crores
Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s highly anticipated film Singham Again has finally hit theaters, generating buzz among fans with its thrilling cop drama and exciting cameos. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film opened to mixed reviews but still managed to rake in impressive collections on its first day. Singham Again serves as the third installment in the popular Singham franchise, with Ajay Devgn reprising his iconic role as Bajirao Singham. Although it didn’t rank among the top three pre-sales of 2024, it performed better than other recent releases like Fighter and Indian 2. Despite mixed reviews—many critics pointed to weaknesses in the storyline—Devgn and Shetty’s dedicated fanbase flocked to theaters to witness the anticipated action spectacle.
Early estimates suggest that Singham Again has achieved a box office collection in the range of ₹44-46 crores on its opening day. While it fell short of the expected ₹50 crore mark, these figures are still commendable, especially considering the competition from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which topped pre-sales.In the face-off with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is estimated to have earned ₹36-38 crores on its opening day, Singham Again managed to secure a stronger position. As the Diwali festivities unfold, only time will reveal which film maintains its momentum at the box office.
