Siddhant Chaturvedi and Disha Patani Cast in Milap Zaveri’s Horror Comedy
Siddhant Chaturvedi is riding a wave of success! Recent reports indicate that he has landed a role in Vikas Bahl’s futuristic sci-fi action film, alongside Wamiqa Gabbi and Jaya Bachchan. Just a few days ago, Bollywood Hungama revealed that Siddhant is also in discussions for a high-concept comic caper that could feature Sreeleela and Nora Fatehi. Now, in an exclusive scoop, Bollywood Hungama has discovered that Siddhant has secured yet another exciting project, this time in the horror-comedy genre.
As per the popular Btown portal, called Bollywood Hungama, “Siddhant Chaturvedi has signed on for a youth-focused horror film infused with comedy. The female lead is likely to be played by the talented Disha Patani. Both are thrilled about this unique horror comedy, which stands out from other films in the genre. ”The insider further shared, “The film will be directed by Milap Zaveri, who is eager to explore the horror-comedy space for the first time. He has a knack for mass appeal and is committed to incorporating commercial elements to attract a broader audience.”
Additional details reveal that the film is being produced by Sarita Ashvin Varde and Subhash Kale, with plans to begin shooting in early 2025.Recently, Siddhant Chaturvedi showcased his action chops in Yudhra (2024) and received acclaim for his role in the Netflix film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023). Disha Patani, on the other hand, wowed audiences earlier this year in Yodha (2024) and made a memorable appearance in Kalki 2898 AD (2024). In addition to her project with Siddhant, she has exciting films lined up, including the Suriya-Bobby Deol starrer Kanguva and the ensemble film Welcome To The Jungle.Lastly, Milap Zaveri has a busy slate ahead, as he is set to direct the adult comedy Masti 4, featuring Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, and Riteish Deshmukh.
