Catch Rock Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani Trailer as it brings back romance this Monsoon

After Satyameva Jayate 2, it is Karan Johar’s turn to sweep audiences off their feet with his flashy romantic drama Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, which stars the oh-so-desirable duo of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. If the trailer is any indication, we are in for a treat of the epic entertainers that mainstream Indian cinema was once known for.

If the trailer is any indication, we are in for a treat of the epic entertainers that mainstream Indian cinema was once known for.
Rocky is determined to marry Rani, but she has other ideas. She proposes a “switch” where they will spend three months living with each other’s families. This sets off a rollercoaster ride of laughter and drama as the duo tries to impress their prospective in-laws, who all have their own reservations about their relationship.
The trailer is a quick and enjoyable watch, and Ranveer and Alia’s undeniable chemistry is the main draw. In stark contrast to their previous film Gully Boy (2019), the duo seamlessly fits into the lavish world that Karan Johar has created, and they look absolutely stunning with their glamorous fashion and impeccable styling.
Alia Bhatt’s beautiful Rani is level-headed, while Ranveer Singh’s brawny Rocky is a bit too flamboyant, reminiscent of his Bitto Sharma from Band Baaja Baarat (2010). The film is sure to raise eyebrows with its over-the-top style, but this is the unabashed Bollywood that we once loved, and who better than Karan Johar to bring it back? Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani is set to release in theaters on July 28.
