Shruti Haasan is known for being bold in her views and ideas. She has been facing backlash from people for not contributing to the COVID 19 funds. While interacting with wth her fans on a live chat on Instagram, she talked about the backlash for not announcing their contributions to support the fight against COVID-19. The actress who is busy working with her music also talked about her work and her lockdown phase and controversies surrounding them.
When asked about the backlash she said people have asked her to go out and help people instead of playing the piano. She added she cannot go out to help people as one is supposed to remain inside their homes. She then said she is not fond of flashing out the charity she has for any cause that would get the people’s approval. She said the donation is a private affair and she would take care of the same.
She informed that she keeps on donating for various cause and believe in the mantra you get what you give and rejected the idea of sharing the same on her social media page. She added saying that she is not in politics where she has to show her work to people by announcing on their social media handles. However, she does not believe in flashing out her work to her fans. She loves to contribute to girls education and has been the part of various such programs dealing with the same.
