Shootout at Byculla the new venture of Ekta Kapoor & Sanjay Gupta
Sanjay Gupta who is the man who directed the movies like Kaabil and Shootout At Wadala is not tied up doing another gangster film called Mumbai Saga with John Abraham. Earlier we heard that Sanjay Gupta and Ekta Kapoor has come together for yet another Mumbai shootout story called Shootout At Byculla. Sanjay has his expertise in dealing with movies that deal with gangsters and underworld, so he has a couple of the said genre films lined up in his career.
Earlier, Sanjay Gupta claimed that he would be doing yet another shootout series with Ekta Kapoor under her banner Balaji Motion Pictures and it will start somewhere once the film Mumbai Saga is completed. As per reports, there seems to be a new installment that has to be added in the career of this man. As he now comes back to support yet another gangster story. He has even referred the book of S Hussain Zaidi called Byculla To Bangkok to develop a script.
As he was in the process of writing the script, he took reference from different sources to embark upon a tangible story as he did earlier with his writings on similar genre films. The latest buzz suggests that if things go smooth and as per the plans of the makers, the film is expected to hit the floor in the first quarter of 2020. Meanwhile, we see Sanjay Gupta busy with Mumbai Saga, which is to be produced under the banner of Bhushan Kumar called T-Series. The film has John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy, and Amole Gupte.
