Shobhita Rana is popular name in modelling and advertising world. She hails from Punjab and was born in Chandigarh on 16th June in 1990 in a non film background as his father was a known lawyer in high court. She did her schooling from Little Flower Convent School in Panchkula and later went to KBDAV in Chandigarh in junior college. Later she went to INIFD Chandigarh for graduation in Fashion Designing.
While doing her Fashion Designing, she headed to Bombay for an audition, which gave her break in modelling to do a couple of commercials and movies. This landed her a break in modelling with Collage commercials over smaller screens. She entered into films with a Punjabi movie called Ishq Brandy, which is a romantic movie in opposite to Binnu Dhillon. Earlier she had the chance to appear in a Punjabi album called Na Heere Na Satu apart from modelling and doing key shoots for Femina Magazine. Her entry into Bollywood would be seen with movie called Golu And Pappu wherein she will be seen in a lead role along with Bollywood known actors like Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapur who is the elder brother of Aashiqui 2 actor.
The movie will be directed by Kabir Sadaband and produced under the banner of Viacom 18. Interestingly, the movie would be releasing in May 2015 during the Indian Premier League matches. This movie is based on the one Hollywood movie called Dumb and Dumber of Jim Carrey. Talking about her personal life she is still single and not keen to mingle as she is willing to focus in her professional life.
