Shivleela Patil is synonymous with cultural stuff in the entertainment domain in Mumbai. She is an artist who is involved in different types of Talakari and Kirtan seen in the traditional places of the Indian state of Maharashtra. She has remained the voice of both urban and rural women of the state, showcasing their cultural aspect to the world. Hailing from a small village in Barshi at Solapur District, she has come a long way in making the venture of social enlightenment in different corners of the city. She was born on January 11 , 1994 in the said place. She has been doing the task of social enlightenment at every nook and corner of the state.Â
She has made her impact on different fields, which were often dominated by the male community. Her father was a Kirtankar and she chose to follow his footsteps. She started chanting like her father when she was barely five. She started moving villages and towns and soon got an overwhelming response. By the next five years, she has become a new heartthrob of both the urban and rural crowd. In this period she has performed thousands of Kirtan.
Her love for Kirtan continued when she was in college, which she calls it as the true love for the rural language and at times even for the standard Marathi. She sings at different places as well. Her style is unique and has brought too much of a crowd to her when she is carrying out her Kirtans.
