Ananya Panday was grilled for 2 hours at NCB office today, called again on Monday
Ananya Panday, a Bollywood actor, has been summoned to the NCB headquarters on Monday, October 25 to continue her questioning. On the second day of the questioning session in the Mumbai drugs case, she was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for about four hours. The actor arrived at the NCB office at 2:30 p.m. and was last seen leaving around 6:30 p.m. She adamantly rejected all rumours that she agreed to procure Ganja for her pal and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan over WhatsApp discussion during her interrogation. For the second day in a row, she arrived at the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office in Mumbai.
She reportedly denied helping Aryan obtain drugs in a statement to the agency on Friday, according to news agency ANI. The actor is being questioned in connection with Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s detention earlier this month in Mumbai for allegedly attending a rave party. Ananya and Aryan have been friends since childhood, and their families are also close. According to the anti-narcotics agency, Aryan allegedly discussed drugs with Ananya in a WhatsApp conversation that was also provided to the court during Aryan’s bail hearing two days ago. The celebrity youngster, who is 23 years old, is currently detained at Arthur Road Jail until October 30.
As part of the ongoing investigation into the October 2 rave party, separate teams of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) paid formal visits to the homes of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan in Bandra west and actor Ananya Panday in Khar west, as well as raiding a place in Andheri. The NCB claims that her name appears in some of Aryan Khan’s WhatsApp communications, as well as others, that the agency has recovered.
She had arrived at the NCB headquarters with her father, under considerable police presence and media scrutiny. The authorities took her phone and laptop during the raid. “The NCB Mumbai Zonal Unit officials visited ‘Mannat’, the residence of Aryan Khan in connection with the (Cr.94/21 case) for seeking certain material related to the investigation of the case from Shah Rukh Khan, by following due procedure of notice”, said NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede in a statement later.
