Lock Upp: Ali Merchant reacts to Shivam Sharma for flirting with his ex-wife Sara Khan

Ali Merchant, a television actor, was recently announced as the 14th contestant on Kangana Ranaut’s reality show ‘Lock Upp.’ He made a stunning entrance that astonished everyone, even his ex-wife Sara Khan, who appeared to be displeased by his appearance on the show. Ali commented about Shivam Sharma’s flirty attitude with Sara and his inability to get a job in the industry before attending the show. Shivam’s gesture, according to the actor, is quite charming and fun, and Sara is exactly like one of the contestants to him.

While speaking to ETimes, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor, when asked about Shivam flirting with Sara, said, “I find Shivam Sharma very entertaining. His gestures are really cute and I would want him to continue doing it. I am going there to just get entertained. I don’t think I am going to get possessive even one percent. For me, today Sara is just one of the contestants and I am going to see her like that. Respect and soft corner will be there but nothing more than that.”

Ali Merchant also explained why he had to quit the television industry so abruptly. The actor claimed that he was underestimated by many people, and as a result, he was unable to get work, leaving him with no choice but to leave the industry. Meanwhile, Ali Merchant acknowledged to co-contestant Payal Rohatgi in the most recent episode of Lock Upp that he did cheat on Sara Khan after meeting a girl in a club and getting carried away. The show, which is produced by Ekta Kapoor, airs every day on ALTBalaji and MX Player.
