Shehnaaz Gill is NOT returning to shoot for her film Honsla Rakh? Producer Diljit Thind gave an update about the actress!
Sidharth Shukla’s death dealt a major blow to Shehnaaz Gill. On September 2, the actor died of a heart attack. The couple claimed that they were merely good friends, however the Bigg Boss 13 winner is said to have died in her lap. In the middle of all the sadness, the makers of Honsla Rakh are still waiting for the shoot to be completed.
Shehnaaz is going to star alongside Diljit Dosanjh in Honsla Rakh, as everyone knows. For the shoot, the duo was seen travelling outside of the country several times. It appears that a promotional video is still in the works. It was originally scheduled for September 15, however it was cancelled due to obvious reasons.
Now, Honsla Rakh producer Diljit Thind has finally given an update about Shehnaaz Gill. He told TOI, “We are waiting for her to recover and heal from the grave loss. We had originally planned to shoot the song on September 15 in London, but that couldn’t happen because of obvious reasons. We will finalise a new date soon and would want Shehnaaz to be a part of it, too, as she is an integral part of the film. I am in touch with her manager and hoping that she will contact us in a few days.”
According to reports, the date will be set before the end of this month, and Shehnaaz Gill will begin filming the promotional song shortly after. May God provide her the strength to resume her normal life in the wake of Sidharth Shukla’s death.
Meanwhile, rumours abound that the actress is having difficulty coping. Rita Shukla, Sidharth’s mother, has been looking after her.
