Shashi Ranjan is an actor of TV and films who hails from Bihar. He was born on 29th September 1987 in Sitamarhi, Bihar in a family of a government employee. He did his schooling and college from Bihar and later headed to Delhi to be into many plays. He started acting since the school days that led him to Delhi to try his luck in theatres and then he headed to Mumbai to pursue his dreams in acting. He acted and directed a couple of plays in different theatre groups. During his stay in Delhi, he worked with theatre people like Mohan Maharishi, Satish Anand, Prem Matiyani, Suresh Anagalli to name a few.
Once he shifted to Mumbai, he continued with theatre and also got commercial ads. He did ads for many brands like Center Fresh, Dabur Hajmola, Dominos Pizza, Sony, IPL and others. He also appeared in Bigg Boss 12 promo. His debut in small screen started with the TV show called Tere Mere Sapne aired at Star Plus. He was also nominated in Star Parivaar Awards in the year 2010 getting nominated in other award platforms as well.
The other TV shows include Savdhan India, Hum Saaf Saaf Hai and Crime Patrol. He also got the chance to work in films. These include The Legend of Michael Mishra, Tumhari Sulu, Dream Girl and the upcoming film Lootcase. The others include Yahan Sabhi Gyani Hain, Robinhood Ke Pote, Jilla Top and Tarangan. His debut in film was done with the film Wedding Pulav. Talking about his personal life, he is single and not ready to mingle as he is focussing on his career.
