Shark Tank’s Vineeta Singh talks about getting TROLLED for her looks and style
Shark Tank India judge Vineeta Singh is One of the most well-known and successful businesswomen. In a recent interview, Singh, who is known for speaking candidly, discussed being made fun of for her appearance and sense of style. According to Vineeta, her appearance is the subject of 95 percent of the comments on her social media posts. Netizens comment negatively on her photos, saying things like “does not look good enough.”
Vineeta remarked in her conversation with Chetan Bhagat, “I am CEO of a company and even now people comment ‘you don’t look good enough, you started a makeup brand because you look so bad, people say such negative things. Your appearance, as a woman, is given so much importance. Even on Instagram, I’ve achieved so much in life, but when I post something, 95% of the comments are about the way I look. It’s one of those things. It’s a by-product of being a girl.” The CEO and founder of Sugar Cosmetics continued by highlighting how women frequently face disadvantages. Vineeta questioned why Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg weren’t questioned about sporting identical clothes. She is unable to comprehend why it’s acceptable for them. The businesswoman also disclosed that she received criticism for creating a beauty line.
