Cricketer Shane Warne dies at the age of 52

Australian cricketer Shane Warne passes away at the age of 52 on Friday 4th March. Warne was found dead at this house. “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived,” Warne’s management confirmed in a statement to the Australian media.

The legendary cricketer dies due to a heart attack in Thailand. However, apart from the management’s statement nothing has come out as of now.

Talking about the versatile cricketer Shane Warne played 145 Tests and 194 ODIs between 1992 and 2007 and took a combined 1001 wickets during his storied international career. The latter also played for IPL as a captain for Rajasthan Royals and won the 1st IPL trophy. He remained the captain for 4 seasons of IPL and post his retirement he remained as a coach for Rajasthan Royals.

Soon after the news, Without leaving any moment, our Indian cricketers took their twitter handle to pay their condolence to the former. Shikar Dhawan wrote, “Sad, speechless, and completely shocked. An incredible loss to cricket. I have no words. Thank you for everything you’ve done for the sport. Rest in Peace, Shane Warne. Sending my condolences to his loved ones.” Virender Sehwag wrote, “Cannot believe it.

One of the greatest spinners, the man who made spin cool, superstar Shane Warne is no more. Life is very fragile, but this is very difficult to fathom. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and fans all around the world.” Suresh Raina tweeted, “At loss of words to hear about the demise of our cricketing legend Shane Warne, he was always magical on the field. May peace be with you. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. #ShaneWarne ?”
