Shanaya Kapoor Starts Filming Her Debut Movie Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan in Azerbaijan; Shares a Heartfelt Moment

Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, has faced numerous delays in her acting debut, but she is finally ready to embark on her film career. On Friday, she shared behind-the-scenes footage from the set of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, shot in Azerbaijan, on her Instagram account.

In the photos, Shanaya is seen holding the film’s clapboard, smiling as she poses with it, proudly displaying the title Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. She captioned the post simply with the word, “grateful…” Recently, she completed the Baku shooting schedule for this much-anticipated film.In the comments section, her mother, Maheep Kapoor, expressed her love with red heart and evil eye protection emojis. Bhavana Pandey congratulated Shanaya, writing,

Before stepping into acting, Shanaya worked as an assistant director on the film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which starred Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role. She is also set to make her acting debut in the film Vrushabha.The bilingual film Vrushabha, featuring veteran actor Mohanlal in the lead role, will also star Zahrah S Khan, daughter of Salma Agha, and Roshann Meka.

Besides Telugu and Malayalam, the film is slated for releases in Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. Produced by AVS Studios, First Step Movies, and Balaji Telefilms, Vrushabha is scheduled to hit theaters on October 16.Shanaya was initially set to make her Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s Bedhadak, where she was cast as Nimrit alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada. However, there have been no updates on the film’s production since last year, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more news on her journey in the film industry.
