Unlike its theatrical predecessors, this chapter will be a six-episode web series directed by debutant Reema Maya, and it has generated considerable buzz around Shanaya’s rumored double role.

A recent report from Mid-Day revealed that SOTY 3 has been in the works for the past six years. An insider shared, “Finally, Karan has given the green signal, and the unit plans to begin filming from April 20. It will be a tight schedule of just over 30 days to shoot six episodes.” This series marks Shanaya’s fourth project and her streaming debut. Notably, her dual role will be a first for the SOTY franchise. In addition to SOTY 3, Shanaya’s upcoming slate for 2025-2026 is quite busy.

Her debut film, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, a romantic drama directed by Santosh Singh, has already wrapped filming and is eyeing a theatrical release.
