Shalini Kapoor Sagar is an actress and theatre personality who hails from Kolkata. She was born on 4th January 1976 in Kolkata and was brought up at this place only. She did her schooling and College from her hometown completing her graduation in Psychology. With her good looks and her interest in acting, she was offered a TV show called Dastaan by the makers of Dubai giving her debut in this field. She then got a couple of other TV shows including Andaaz, Maharathi, Kaahin Kissii Roz, Kkusum, Jai Maa Durga, and Saat Phere.
While she started working with a small screen she also got the chance to work in films as well, which started with the movie called Sapoot in the year 1996. The next year she got the chance to work with the film Koi Kisise Kum Nahin and since then it was no looking back for the actress. Some of her films include Kudrat, Aaj Ka Ravan, Baaghi, Zahreela, and the recent one called Dhadak in 2018 with Jhanvi Kapoor where she did play the role called Madhu.
She is active in TV shows and some of other TV serials include Ardhangani Ek Khoobsurat Jeevan Saathi, Shri Sifarishi Lal, Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Solhah Singaarr, Qubool Hai, Hari Mirchi Lal Mirchi, Dastaan and CID for 3 episodes. Some of her recent ones include Swaragini as Annapurna Durgaprasad Maheshwari are in between 2015–2016. She has also worked in Gujarati and Bhojpuri films as well. Talking about her personal life, she is married to Rohit Sagar in 2008 and the couple has a daughter as well. She bagged the Bharat Gaurav Award in the year 2017.
