Shalin Zoya may not be a popular figure in B Town but has her strong presence in Tollywood. Well, the actress is also a cool dancer and anchor who was born on 22 February 1997 in Kozikode, Kerala. She was born and brought up in this place with doing her schooling and college from the same. She hails from a typical Muslim family, which gave her some difficulty when she decided to enter the world of acting. However, she started her career with learning dance, which made her enter into the celluloid world giving her the opportunity to being spotted by the filmmaker to enter the Tollywood industry.
Shalin was to acting over the silver screen went via the small screen with the lady doing a couple of TV shows first and then the films. It all started with Autograph aired at Asianet and followed with another called Kudumbayogam aired at the Surya TV. Some of her popular TV shows include Gajarajan Guruvayur Keshavan – Surya TV, Hello Mayavi – Surya TV and Sooryakanthi –Jai hind TV to name a few. She then got the chance to enter over the silver screen. However, her journey in silver screen started as a child artist, which commenced with the film called Quotation.
The others include Out of Syllabus, The Don, Oruvan, Vaasthavam, Soorya Kireedam and Oridathoru Puzhayundu. Then came a series of Malayalam movies that made her career in the silver screen. It all started with Elsamma Enna Aankutty, Swapna Sanchari, Manushyamrugam, Manikiakkallu, Mallu Singh, Karmayodha, Rebecca Uthup Kizhakemala and Good Idea. Shalin Zoya’s recent movies include Koppayile Kodumkattu, Badarul Muneer Husnul Jamal and Sadharanakkaran. She was also awarded for her contribution in movies and TV, which include 2011 – Asianet Ayucare Television Award – Best New Face of the year (for TV soap opera Autograph), 2011 – Kazhcha Television Award – Best Actress (for TV serial Autograph) and Vayalar Award for Best Child Artist (for film Elsamma Enna Aankutty).
