Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey is postponed again, to now release on THIS date!

The release of the Hindi remake of the National award-winning Telugu movie ‘Jersey’ has been postponed again. Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer sports drama Jersey was earlier set to release theatrically on April 14, now the news came that the movie will release on April 22.

The film is delayed for the fifth time, and this time the postponed news comes just three days before its countrywide release in theatres on April 14. Earlier, the film was delayed in December due to a rise in the coronavirus cases in the country.

While sharing the news, film producer Aman Gill said, “As a team, we have put our blood sweat, and tears into ‘Jersey’ and would like our beloved film to reach all of you in the widest possible way. Jersey will now release on 22nd April.”

The movie critic and analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Instagram handle and shared the news, “#Xclusiv… BREAKING NEWS… #Jersey POSTPONED by one week… Will arrive in cinemas on 22 April 2022… The stakeholders arrived at the decision late last night.”

Jersey is produced by film producers Dil Raju, S Naga Vamsi, and Aman Gill and Directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri. Jersey is the story of a skillful but failed cricketer, who decides to return to the field in his late 30s caused by the urge to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfill his son’s wish for a jersey as a gift.
